Le nekaj deset let nazaj je tale meja predstavljala železno zaveso med vzhodom in zahodom, med Italijo in Jugoslavijo. O nekdaj strogo nadzorovanem območju danes pričajo le še karavla, bunkerji in zgodbe, ki jih povedo domačini. Te so včasih hudomušne, a žal pogosto tudi zelo žalostne.
Just a few decades ago this border represented iron curtain between west and east, between Italy and Yugoslavia. Sometimes very stricked controlling is seen today just indirectly: there is a frontier guardhouse, bunkers and many strories from the locals. Sometimes those stories are funny, but unfortunatelly very ofter also very sad.
